2016-2017 Executive Board
President - Patrick Dillon
Patrick is pursuing a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. He plans to graduate in June of 2017. He is from the Bay Area and will intern this summer for a Big Four firm in San Francisco. As an Intramural Supervisor, Patrick works for Cal Poly Associated Students, Inc. to coordinate intramurals for the Cal Poly community. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys running, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
VP of Firm Relations - Alyssa Mangaoang
Alyssa is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in agribusiness with a minor in accounting. She will graduate with CPA eligibility in June of 2018. Originally from San Francisco, she is excited to participate in summer leadership programs this July. Alyssa also works as an accounting assistant for Cal Poly club services and is heavily involved in the Pilipino Cultural Exchange, where she co-directed and produced a three-act theater production about diversity and inclusion. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys traveling, writing poetry, going to concerts, and spending time with friends.
VP of Events - Devon Hunt
Devon is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in French, and is excited to graduate in June 2017. She is originally from Sacramento, CA but currently lives in Monterey, CA and is signed for a summer internship in San Francisco. In addition to CPAC, Devon is also involved in Cal Poly’s Women in Business Association and serves as a Resident Advisor for University Housing. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, exploring the SLO area, Netflixing, and spending time with friends.
Treasurer - Ian Melton
Ian is currently pursuing a degree in business administration while double concentrating in accounting and information systems. By June 2018, Ian will be CPA eligible. After graduation he plans to enroll in the Financial Accounting Master’s Program. Working as a public accountant in the audit service is Ian’s goal upon completing school Originally from Chico, CA, Ian is very active and has a passion for baseball, soccer, and hiking.
Secretary - Hannah Maccoux
Hannah is pursuing a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and will be graduating in June of 2017. She is from Folsom, CA but is looking forward to a summer internship in San Francisco. Hannah is also involved in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners - Cal Poly Chapter and is interested in a career in forensic accounting. She enjoys swimming, skiing, backpacking, music, and spending time with friends and family.
Director of Publicity - Kristina Kong
Kristina is pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting, and is looking forward to graduating in June 2018. She is from Fremont, CA, and is excited to be interning at an accounting firm in San Francisco this summer. In addition to being heavily involved in CPAC, Kristina works as a student assistant in the Computer Science Department and volunteers with Alpha Phi Omega. In her free time she enjoys watching soccer, binging on Netflix, and hanging with her friends.
Director of Activities - Jun Bang
Jun is a business administration major focusing on accounting. Jun was born and raised in South Korea until he moved to the Bay Area at the age of nine. After moving to America, Jun and his family settled in San Jose, where he hopes to work after graduation. At Cal Poly, Jun is involved in Interhousing Council and University Housing. In his free time, Jun loves to surf, line dance and hang out with friends.
Director of Community Relations - Leah Mathew
Leah Mathew, a Bay Area native, is looking to pursue a career in public accounting after graduating in June of 2018. She has visited five of the seven continents and hopes to spend the summer traveling and attending concerts. In her free time, Leah enjoys reading, playing with her two dogs, and giving back to the community.
Director of Professional Development - Jordan Alsop
Jordan will be graduating in June of 2017 with a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. He plans to continue his education with a Master’s in Financial Accounting. This summer Jordan will be interning at a Big Four accounting firm in Orange County. Jordan also is employed as a peer advisor for the Orfalea College of Business. In his free time, Jordan loves to fish, surf, explore, and spend time with friends.
Sheri Boscaro
Sheri Boscaro, CPA, is the Executive Director for Accounting Excellence in the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University. She joined Cal Poly in January 2015 after having spent 16 years working in both public accounting and industry firms. This will be Sheri's second year as the CPAC Advisor.
