Empowering Cal Poly students to explore careers in accounting through professional, educational, and social opportunities—since 1974. This mission is made possible by the leadership of our executive board, the guidance of our faculty and college, and the partnership of supporting firms.
Professional Opportunities
We host an accounting-specific career fair, Careers in Accounting Day, during Spring recruiting season. At every meeting, we bring in professionals from accounting firms and companies of all sizes.
Educational Opportunities
Throughout the year, we host panels consisting of professionals, students, and faculty to share their experiences. We also put on events to help student prepare their resumes, cover letters, elevator pitch, and other key components for a successful career fair.
Social Opportunities
We host two pre-career fair events, CPAC Summit and Pre-Careers in Accounting Day, for students and professionals to connect in a casual setting. We also give back through service events in our local community. At the end of the year, we host Spring Banquet to recognize outstanding individuals, congratulate graduates, and come together as a CPAC community.
