Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Why:

  • Freshmen: It's never too early to start familiarizing yourself with the firms that recruit from Cal Poly and getting your name out there! Participating in these events will help recruiters remember who you are and how much you care about getting a job.

  • Sophomores and Juniors: Introduce yourself to firms and find out a little more about what they offer. Network and don’t forget to get those resumes and business cards. Find out about possible summer leadership and internship opportunities.

  • Seniors and Graduates: Introduce or re-introduce yourself to the firms you are interested in interviewing with. Continue to network after the event so firms will know who you are by the time fall interviews come up.

  • All: There will be a professional photo booth in order to take Linkedin photos.

Students interested in attending this year’s Fall Symposium should sign up on the Eventbrite link on Facebook. At the time of the event, elegant printed name tags will be waiting for those who registered in advance.
