Brandon MacDonald

President

Brandon MacDonald is a fourth-year transfer student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He plans to graduate with CPA eligibility in June of 2023. Brandon is originally from Visalia, California, but has lived in Morro Bay for the past 5 years. Upon graduation, Brandon hopes to start a career in Tech Consulting in the Bay Area. Currently, Brandon is a Mixologist and restaurant manager and can be seen around the county trying delicious food and rollerblading. If you do not see Brandon, he is most likely home playing video games.

Nick Norcia

VP of Firm Relations

Nick Norcia is a fourth-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and minoring in Law and Society. He will be graduating with CPA eligibility in June 2023. Nick was born and raised in San Jose, California, and plans to start his career there, where he is interning at Ernst and Young Summer 2022. Outside of CPAC, Nick is in the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and plays on the Cal Poly Roller Hockey Club Team. Nick enjoys watching and playing all sports, even though his teams (Steelers, Red Sox, Celtics, Sharks) have suffered from mediocrity lately.

Sophia Jidkov

VP of Events

Sophia Jidkov is a fourth-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and minors in English and MAST (Media Arts, Society and Technology). She will be graduating with CPA eligibility in June 2023. Sophia grew up in San Jose, CA but plans to start her career in New York, which is also where she will be interning this summer. Outside of CPAC, she works as a Career Peer Advisor at the Orfalea College of Business. In her free time, you can find her watching movies, spending time with friends, and working to perfect her chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Amanda Grady

Director of Upper-Class Professional Development

Amanda Grady is a fourth-year pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics with a concentration in Accounting. She plans on graduating with CPA eligibility in June 2023. Amanda grew up in Orange County but plans on beginning her career in San Francisco after graduation. In addition to CPAC, she loves to explore new cuisines, go camping with her friends, and spend time relaxing at the beach.

Liza Panfilova

Director of Publicity

Liza Panfilova is a fourth-year honors student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in Accounting and planning on graduating in Winter 2023 with CPA eligibility. She grew up in Marin County, but was originally born in Ukraine. She plans on starting her career in San Francisco, where she will be interning this summer. Outside of CPAC, Liza enjoys reading, watching movies, exploring new cities, and spending time with friends.

Cailey Holl

Director of Activities

Cailey is a fourth-year Economics major concentrating in Accounting. After graduating in June 2023 she plans on pursuing a Masters in Taxation to become CPA eligible. Cailey was born and raised in Merced, California but plans on starting her career in San Francisco where she will be interning this Summer. Outside of CPAC, Cailey enjoys playing tennis, reading, trying out new recipes, and going to the beach.

Anh Nguyen

Director of Community, Diversity, and Inclusion

Anh Nguyen is a third-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She plans to graduate early in June 2023 and continue to pursue higher education to get a Master in Taxation/Accounting and become CPA eligible. Anh is originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, but has lived in San Luis Obispo since the age of 14. In her free time, Anh can be found burrowing under her blanket reading a book, watching a docuseries, or just singing loudly along to her favorite song of the day. If you’re lucky enough, you will spot her zooming by with her e-bike around campus.

Stephanie Chan

VP of Finance

Stephanie Chan is a third-year pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and minors in Chinese and Asian Studies. Outside of CPAC, Stephanie works as a Peer Advisor for the College of Engineering and performs as a member of the Cal Poly Lion Dance Team. Stephanie grew up in Elk Grove, California and plans to return to the Sacramento area to begin her career in the Tax practice after graduating in June 2024 with CPA eligibility. In her free time, she enjoys tending to spreadsheets and going on trips to Costco.

Rylee Turpin

Director of Lower-Class Professional Development

Rylee Turpin is a third-year pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She plans on graduating in June 2024 with CPA eligibility. Rylee grew up in Dublin, California (sadly not as green as Ireland) and plans on starting her career in San Francisco after graduation. Outside of CPAC, Rylee enjoys running, reading, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with friends and family (including her cat).

Samantha Holland

Sam Holland is a fourth-year pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Italian studies. She plans to graduate with CPA eligibility in Spring of 2023. She is originally from Colorado and plans to start her career there or in California after graduation. In her free time, Sam loves playing and watching sports, going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and traveling to cool places!
