Spencer Zhang
President
Spencer is a third-year Business Administration student with a concentration in Accounting. He was raised in San Diego, California, but was originally born in New Jersey. After graduation, Spencer plans to launch his accounting career in San Diego while possibly pursuing his passion for coaching golf or football on the side. A fun fact about Spencer is that he originally committed to playing college golf elsewhere before he played on the football team. Last summer, he gained hands-on experience in both audit and tax during his Launch Internship with Ernst & Young, and he looks forward to returning this summer as an Audit & Assurance Intern.

Arushi Gupta
VP of Finance
Arushi Gupta is a 2nd year Business administration major with concentration in accounting. She is from San Jose CA, and hopes to become a CPA in the future. She used to live in New York and loves avocado toast. She will be interning at Moss Adams this summer.
Allison Ng
Director of Administration
Allison Ng is a second-year Business Administration major concentrating in accounting. She grew up in San Jose, California and will be doing an internship there with Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP in the summer. After graduating, she plans on returning to her hometown to start her career in accounting. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with her friends and family.
Suyeon Hwang
Director of Publicity
Suyeon is a second-year Business Administration student concentrating in Accounting, originally from Hollister, CA. She will be interning at KPMG and is on track to graduate next winter. After graduation, Suyeon plans to earn her CPA and begin her career in public accounting. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys cooking for friends and family, always looking for new recipes to try and share.
Bea Coutinho
VP of Events
Bea is a third-year Business Administration major concentrating in Accounting and minoring in Political Science, and plans to graduate CPA eligible in Spring 2026. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, she is excited to return home this summer for her upcoming audit internship. Bea aspires to build a career in public accounting after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, visiting the beach, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Mia Guzman
VP of Firm Relations
Mia Guzman is a third-year Business Administration major concentrating in Information Systems with a minor in Spanish. She is passionate about the intersection of business and technology and is excited to explore how innovative solutions can help organizations operate more efficiently and securely. Outside of academics, Mia enjoys running, hiking, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. This summer, she will be joining Grant Thornton as a Risk Advisory Intern, where she looks forward to gaining hands-on experience and advancing her career.
Isha Chudasama
Director of Social Activities
Isha Chudasama is a second-year Business Administration major concentrating in accounting and plans to graduate in June 2027 with CPA eligibility. Isha is originally from Mountain View, California, and plans to return to pursue public accounting in the Bay Area after graduation. This summer, she will be interning at Deloitte. Aside from CPAC, Isha is a member of the Cal Poly Choirs and enjoys working out, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
Claire Untalan
Director of Community, Diversity, and Inclusion
Claire is a third-year Business Administration major with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science. Originally from San Francisco, California, she is passionate about the integration of technology and accounting, and is eager to explore how innovations like AI are shaping the future of the profession. Outside the classroom, Claire enjoys staying active. She’s a member of the club beach volleyball team and spends her free time running, swimming, and surfing. This summer, she is excited to join PwC’s San Francisco office as a Digital Assurance and Technology intern.
Jacqueline Sanchez
Director of Lower-Class Professional Development
Jacqueline is a second-year Business Administration student concentrating in accounting, and double minoring in Law & Society and Latin American Studies. She plans to graduate with CPA eligibility June 2026. Jacqueline was raised in Gilroy, CA and plans to return to the Bay Area after graduation to pursue a career in audit. Previously, she completed a rotational internship in the Silicon Valley and plans to return this summer for a service line internship. Outside of CPAC, Jacqueline loves to travel, enjoys watching baseball, and trying new foods. Her immediate plan is to obtain her CPA, and hopes to one day be able to pursue law school as well.
Kento Rodriguez
Director of Upper-Class Professional Development
Kento is a third-year transfer student, studying Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He grew up in Irvine, California, and will be interning at EY this summer. After graduating, he plans to head back to his hometown with hopes to begin working in public accounting. During his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, eating sushi and ramen, and spending time with his family and friends.
Kim Westermann
CPAC Advisor
Dr. Kim Westermann, CPA (inactive), is a Professor of Accounting who specializes in Auditing and Accounting Ethics. She earned her B.S. at Cal Poly and has worked as an audit practitioner for both EY in San Jose and PwC in New York City. In 2011, she earned her Ph.D. from Bentley University and has become a prominent scholar of Audit Regulation and Global Audits.
