Recruiter Resources

The Cal Poly Accounting Club is a continuously growing organization that serves as the primary recruiting channel for Business-Accounting students. We strive to provide students with all of the necessary information about firms and opportunities so they can make informed decisions. This is not possible without the generous support of firms and professionals.

The Cal Poly Accounting Club offers multiple ways to get involved including:

  • Professional Development and Firm Presentations at our weekly meeting

  • A fall and winter career fair

  • Philanthropy events to connect with students

  • Socials to network with students

  • Leading a professional development workshop

Career Fairs

The Cal Poly Accounting Club hosts two career fairs each year. The first career fair, Fall Symposium, takes place in the fall. It is designed for junior and senior students looking for internship and full-time opportunities.

The second career fair, Careers in Accounting Day takes place in the winter. It is designed for freshman, sophomore, and junior students looking to learn more about accounting and summer leadership programs.

Firm sign-ups for Careers in Accounting Day will begin in early December.  Firms will be emailed an invitation to register using Eventbrite to the recruiter we currently have listed. If your firm does not receive an invitation or the recruiter has changed please contact the VP of Professional Events at vpevents@polycpac.com .

Both career fairs are a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about your firm and company. We tend to draw over 300 students to each career fair.
