Recruiter Resources

The Cal Poly Accounting Club serves as the primary recruiting channel for Business-Accounting students. We strive to provide students with all of the necessary information about firms and opportunities so they can make informed decisions. This is not possible without the generous support of firms and professionals.

Ways to Get Involved

Firms can engage with students through:

  • Career Fairs (Fall Symposium & Careers in Accounting Day)

  • Professional Development & Firm Presentations at weekly meetings

  • Workshops led by professionals

  • Philanthropy events connecting firms with students

  • Social events to build relationships outside the classroom

Career Fairs

We host two career fairs each year, each drawing over 300 students:

  • Fall Symposium: Held each fall, designed for juniors and seniors seeking internships and full-time opportunities.

  • Careers in Accounting Day: Held in winter, focused on freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in learning more about the profession and summer leadership programs.

Firm registration for Careers in Accounting Day opens in early December via Eventbrite. If your firm does not receive an invitation or if recruiter contact information has changed, please email our VP of Events at vpevents@polycpac.com.

Firm Presentations

Weekly meetings are held Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. These meetings allow firms to present, share opportunities, and build meaningful connections with students.
